Montegrappa St. Moritz Limited Edition Fountain Pens

Montegrappa has introduced a new series of four pens honoring the spirit of St. Moritz in the Swiss Alps. Inspiration comes from classic advertising images of the 1910's and 20's, with each pen hand-painted by Italian artist Lorena Straffi. The pen bodies are fashioned from luxurious cotton fiber celluloid which is then mixed with natural pigments and mother-of-pearl. Each of the four pens is available in either sterling silver or 18K gold trim.

Four classic period posters serve as the inspiration for these pens:

• Automobile Week 1929, by Baumberger.

• Grosses Ski Rennen der Schweiz (Big Swiss Ski Race) 1911, by Kupfer.

• Woman in a Red Jacket 1925, by Daester.

• Tea Time by the Engadin Lake 1920, by Stiefel

Each of the four  St. Moritz Limited Edition pens is available in an edition of 300 fountain pens and 300 rollerballs in sterling silver trim, as well as a special limited edition of eight fountain pens and eight roller balls with solid 18K gold trim per design.
