Montegrappa St. Moritz Limited Edition Fountain Pens
Montegrappa has introduced a new series of four pens honoring the spirit of St. Moritz in the Swiss Alps. Inspiration comes from classic advertising images of the 1910's and 20's, with each pen hand-painted by Italian artist Lorena Straffi. The pen bodies are fashioned from luxurious cotton fiber celluloid which is then mixed with natural pigments and mother-of-pearl. Each of the four pens is available in either sterling silver or 18K gold trim.
Four classic period posters serve as the inspiration for these pens:
• Automobile Week 1929, by Baumberger.
• Grosses Ski Rennen der Schweiz (Big Swiss Ski Race) 1911, by Kupfer.
• Woman in a Red Jacket 1925, by Daester.
• Tea Time by the Engadin Lake 1920, by Stiefel
Each of the four St. Moritz Limited Edition pens is available in an edition of 300 fountain pens and 300 rollerballs in sterling silver trim, as well as a special limited edition of eight fountain pens and eight roller balls with solid 18K gold trim per design.

Fountain Pen Wish List- Visconti Salvador DalĂ The Dance of Time
Visconti pays tribute to Salvador Dali with the launch of the Surrealist Collection integrating some of Dali's most iconic symbols and prevailing colors. Dali's originality and unique character were accompanied by an admiration for tradition and a will for continuity.
For example Dali consistently added his melting pocket watch imagery to many of his works; for this reason Visconti has integrated the melting watch onto the Visconti clip.
Dali's signature is engraved on the pen ring and also printed in gold onto the pen box. This special edition maintains in full the charm of Dali's surreal creativity.
It is made of plant resin and is available in brown or green with gold trim and blue with silver trim blue, the colors of the great master's sculptures. Visconti has meticulously recreated the "Dance of Time I" melting watch in lacquered silver micro-fusion on the Visconti iconic bridge clip.
Dali's time is perpetual, it moves forward in a dance without ever stopping either for man or for history, indeed not even for the cosmos. The signature of the artist is delicately engraved on the pen's ring, "Dali style".
The pen itself utilizes Visconti's 18 -faceted design, the many edges enhancing the vivid colors of the pen"s resin. The fountain pen fills by cartridge or the included converter and is enhanced with a steel nib available in M, F and B widths.

Honey by Marc Jacobs
Honey by Marc Jacobs is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women.
This is a new fragrance. Honey was launched in 2013. Honey was created by Annie
Buzantian and Ann Gottlieb. Top notes are pear, mandarin orange and punch;
middle notes are honeysuckle, orange blossom and peach; base notes are honey,
vanilla and woodsy notes.
Delightful fresh-fruity-sweet, joyfully warm-sunny-honey mix on my skin. Delicious peachy fruit punch swirling with fresh pears and mandarin oranges, lush honeysuckle and smooth orange blossom dancing on a restrained vanilla and very subdued anchoring wood.
Carefree and fun! No powdery notes or dirty musk to interfere with the yummy juicy-fruit vibes on this one. As casual, fresh fruits for summer go, I like it!

Educating Yorkshire- New Channel 4 Series
A documentary series set in a school in one of the most deprived, ethnically divided areas of Britain restores the faith in our education system and the future of our multicultural society.
Educating Yorkshire has been filmed at Thornhill Community
Academy near Dewsbury. The 8-part series looks at every day life in the school,
following new head teacher Jonny Mitchell as he seeks to improve standards and
the school’s reputation.
“I’d walked into this school not long before the approach
was made for schools to be involved in this and I thought the school had an
awful lot to shout about – and that it was on an upward trajectory,” he
explained.“I thought we could present ourselves as a really positive
role model for others in education and others outside. The other main reason
was our location. Dewsbury has suffered quite a lot in the last ten or 15 years
with some adverse press. I thought this was an opportunity for us to show the
positive side of the town as well. And the third reason is – I think the kids
are brilliant – I think they deserve to experience something a little bit
different.
Jonny Mitchell added that he had watched the
Educating Essex series “twice” and felt it was “funny, pretty honest, quite raw
on occasions” and that he had spoken to their head teacher before agreeing to
the filming.
He revealed there were some “niggling concerns” about the
documentary, particularly when it came to some of the more vulnerable pupils
and whether it may harm his career:“You can think of all the positives that might come out of
it, but you’ve always got to keep in the back of your head, “I might come out
of this looking like a complete and utter wazzock.” But it was made very clear
at the outset by the production company that they weren’t interested in selling
us down the river for ratings.”
The series begins at 9pm on Thursday 5th September.

Flower In The Air Kenzo Review
Kenzo Flower In The Air is coming out in August 2013 as a new interpretation of the original fragrance Flower by Kenzo from 2000. Its commercial press release tells how Kenzo dreamed of complete freedom for his iconic flower and how the poppy rises into the air with this new exquisite scent.
The fragrance is a modern and light floral, created by
Alberto Morillas. The top notes include fresh accords of raspberry and pink
pepper. The heart includes dazzling rose, magnolia and gardenia, placed on the
elegant white musk base. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de
Parfum.
Debenhams had this out already .It's less sweeter than the original Flower and less powdery. I can smell the raspberry and rose notes which stayed most prominant on my skin. It's still sweet but lighter, I can still smell it around 4 hours after spraying. Not something I would rush to buy but an ok pleasant day time scent in a nice shaped bottle!

Moleskine Hobbit Notebooks
Moleskine relested a set of notebooks based on the Hobbit theme. The notebooks come in two sizes, with in plain or ruled paper, and the designs feature Mirkwood and the Lonely Mountain.
Beautiful journal. It is simple with the decoration mainly on the cover, which is nicely understated. Under the back flap, there's a pocket with a map. Very nice for the Hobbit fan!
Classic and elegant yet unique and made with attention to details.
