Lancome La Nuit Tresor

It supposedly depicts the dark side of rose and mixes notes of black rose with Tahitian vanilla orchid absolute. There are also accords of natural incense, papyrus, patchouli and litchi praline added to the mix.

Clinique Aromatics in White

White color definitely replaces the years-long trend of black color. One fragrance in the long line of very interesting editions arrives from the house of Clinique as a successor of the classic from 1971—Aromatics Elixir. As the oldest fragrance of the house of Clinique, Aromatics Elixir takes special place in the collection of the house but also an envious place for the quality of the composition in the perfume industry in general. Its chypre-floral composition highlights tart floral essences of carnation and rose, cooled with aldehydes and moss.

In October 2014 Clinique presents Aromatics in White, a women’s fragrance which lures with tart notes of Sichuan pepper, elegant violet leaves and labdanum in top notes. The gentle transition towards the heart comes with floral shades of roses and orange blossom, surrounded with patchouli, creating a harmonious union of floral and earthy textures. Depth and sensual aromas are ensured by leather musk, intertwined with warm grey amber, benzoin and vanilla. United this way, they leave a soft, oriental signature in the base. The new composition by Clinique is signed by perfumer Nicolas Beaulieu.

Jesus del Pozo Halloween Fleur

New fragrance Halloween Fleur is inspired by youth. In every culture and language there is an expression "in his prime" connected with the beginning of life, beauty and subtlety. Many of the world's poets, painters and artists have been inspired by the beginning of spring and the awakening of nature ... that magical moment of the first blooming flowers. Each flower is characterized by a variety of colors, texture of petals, freshness, scent and unique beauty, just like any young being full of dreamy endeavors and high ideals. The new fragrance accentuates the innocence, honesty and youth in us, a reflection of the ability to daydream.

Valentino Valentina Oud Assoluto

Inspired by the richness of the Orient, Valentino presents the newest "black" edition of the Valentino Valentina collection, decorated with one black leathery flower. The name of the new edition promises an intensive perfume trace, while the announced notes of the composition will give a more mature and seductive Valentina.

Valetina Oud Assoluto combines the delicacy of orange blossom and spicy nuances of carmadom, leading to the precious oud wood enriched with leathery notes and seductive Bulgarian rose in the heart. Strong saffron accords, soft vanilla and dry woods in the base of the composition allow a specific "desert theme," dry and warm at the same time.

Oud notes and orange blossom are the key notes in the composition, as announced by femina.ch. The new composition is signed by pefumer Olivier Cresp who carefully chose all the notes to unite Italian tradition with the richness and warmth of the Orient

Honey by Marc Jacobs

Honey by Marc Jacobs is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. This is a new fragrance. Honey was launched in 2013. Honey was created by Annie Buzantian and Ann Gottlieb. Top notes are pear, mandarin orange and punch; middle notes are honeysuckle, orange blossom and peach; base notes are honey, vanilla and woodsy notes.

Delightful  fresh-fruity-sweet, joyfully warm-sunny-honey mix on my skin. Delicious peachy fruit punch swirling with fresh pears and mandarin oranges, lush honeysuckle and smooth orange blossom dancing on a restrained vanilla and very subdued anchoring wood.

Carefree and fun! No powdery notes or dirty musk to interfere with the yummy juicy-fruit vibes on this one. As casual, fresh fruits for summer go, I like it!

Flower In The Air Kenzo Review

Kenzo Flower In The Air is coming out in August 2013 as a new interpretation of the original fragrance Flower by Kenzo from 2000. Its commercial press release tells how Kenzo dreamed of complete freedom for his iconic flower and how the poppy rises into the air with this new exquisite scent.

The fragrance is a modern and light floral, created by Alberto Morillas. The top notes include fresh accords of raspberry and pink pepper. The heart includes dazzling rose, magnolia and gardenia, placed on the elegant white musk base. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Debenhams had this out already .It's less sweeter than the original Flower and less powdery. I can smell the raspberry and rose notes which stayed most prominant on my skin. It's still sweet but lighter, I can still smell it around 4 hours after spraying. Not something I would rush to buy but an ok pleasant day time scent in a nice shaped bottle!

Eaudemoiselle de Givenchy Ambre Velours

The Eaudemoiselle collection by Givenchy, in the last three years, has launched five versions of Eaudemoiselle scent, counting the newest Eaudemoiselle by Givenchy Ambre Velours. For the newest fragrance, it could be said that the juice will be much "darker" than the previous editions, announced as flowery-woody. The basic Eaudemoiselle by Givenchy launched in 2010 gives an elegant floral composition lightened with sparkling citruses and refreshing herbs. The refinement of this edition is reflected with delicate ingredients, carefully chosen and composed, filling a very nice bottle. During the last three years Givenchy presented several successors, romantic variations to satisfy all tastes.

By launching Eaudemoielle Eau Fraiche, Eaudemoiselle Eau Florale and Eaudemoiselle Bois de Oud, Givenchy has been playing with the main composition, giving fresher, more flowery or oriental-woody variations. The design of the bottle stayed the same, but the color of the glass was changed and customized with each edition's theme. The newest edition, Ambre Velours, contrasts all successors with the chosen notes and the seductive color of the bottle. The new dark purple bottle just look gorgeous! The outer box has the same dark nuances, decorated with golden details stressing the luxurious atmosphere and nobility of the notes. Eaudemoiselle de Givenchy Ambre Velours' composition will surely be seductive! Dark plum notes at the top are blended with pink pepper, announcing an intensive velvety rose note that comes from the heart. The heart notes are deep and warm, woven of honey-sweet roses and strengthened with woody accords of patchouli and cedarwood. The base notes give overwhelming heat made of precious resins. An intoxicating blend of opoponax, tolu balsam, benzoin, and amber share the warmth, together with smoky tonka.

Histoires de Parfums Hemingway 1899

The original line-up of the niche perfume line Histoires de Parfums, founded by French perfumer Gerald Ghislain, was inspired by famous personalities, mainly in the French canon of literature and the arts: Le Marquis de Sade, George Sand, Jules Verne, Colette, alongside Empress Eugenie de Montijo, the last empress of France; Casanova, the Venetian seducer; and Mata Hari, the infamous spy ...

Now an American letters colossus, famous for spending a good amount of his life in France and Europe, on his way to Cuba, namely Ernest Hemingway, is the newest addition to the collection which plays olfactory homage to literary figures of the past:Histoires de Parfums presents 1899 Hemingway!

Lancome Tresor L`Absolu 2013

This year Lancome is presenting a new version of legendary Tresor, offering an utterly feminine composition blended of intoxicating flowery notes, deep and warm woody accords and seductive and very intensive leather. The chypre-flowery concept of the new scent accented with pure leathery undertones was created as an embodiment of passion, love and timeless beauty!

Intoxicating aromas of delicate Damask rose petals we can smell from the first perfume drops. They are supported with carefully selected aromatic spices, announcing the easy enveloping of Centifolia rose aromas lightened with elegant white jasmine. The scent became deeper and warmer from the blend of earthy patchouli and sweet and balsamic benzoin, while a seductive odor comes from soft and sensual vanilla. For a specific, outrageous trace, there is a pure leathery note which bring special character to the whole composition.

My perfume must have for summer

Summer brings challenges for perfume-loving gals.Just as you wouldn't wear a pullover to a summer picnic, there are certain perfume notes that are best left to the colder seasons. In the heat of summer, fresh and natural - or at least nature-inspired - scent ingredients are the most welcome. These include citrus, fruityoceanicwoody, and light floral notes.

My must have for this summer:

Moschino Funny!

Really nice summer fragrance! At first it is an explosion of oranges freshness. Delicious! Something between Arancia di Capri and Fleur d'Osmanthus at the beginning, but a bit spicier. Then the slight bitterness of tea leaves appears and lingers for hours with glimpses of citrus now and then... It makes me think of a fruity iced-tea.

L'Eau par Kenzo

A fresh, clean and feminine perfume.

It smells quite simple- water, mint, violet and lotus ( which is not listed), but if we take a look on the notes, we see it's a complex and sophisticated fragrance. Reminds me an ikebana. Simple yet made with attention and care. I would like to wear it for a walk under the summer rain. The scent is soft and mild yet longevity and the sillage are really good. Usually with this type of scents I feel disappointed because they fade quite quickly, but not with this scent. Great!

Chance Eau Fraiche

Chance eau Fraiche easily became a favorite and my summer priority! The cedar in this perfume is so enchanting and lucky for me there is just a hint of pepper. To me this is one of the deepest fresh perfumes out there, it manages to stay fresh and mysterious in the heat and I bet if i smell this one someone else i'll turn my head and sniff sniff sniff!! I wish everyone would appreciate a perfume for what it is, not for what they imagined it would be, then this world of fragrance would be a fairer and happier place!
